Our concept in 1988 was to make the very best pastry we could. We felt the community was ready for a European style pastry, handmade with the very best ingredients we could buy. In 1989 the Alexandria Pastry Shop became the Alexandria Pastry Shop & Café providing mouth-watering entrees, salads and sandwiches to be enjoyed in our 24-seat café or catered to you at your home or office.

Not only has the Alexandria Pastry Shop & Catering Company been creating the DC areas most irresistible pastries since 1988 we also season, grill and sauté the best receptions and dinners in the metro area. Let us help you plan your next event (Bridal Shower, Rehearsal Dinner, Wedding Reception, Holiday Party, Cocktail Reception or Corporate Meeting). We will be happy to discuss a complete menu with you - Hors D'oeuvres, Salads, Entrees, and Desserts - and create a proposal for your entire event

Today we are the Alexandria Pastry Shop & Catering Company, continuing to provide you with exceptional delights in our Shop and Café and providing extensive catering for your corporate events; breakfast, lunch, dinner and receptions, wedding receptions, rehearsal dinners, cocktail parties, bar mitzvahs, and just about anything else you desire.

Please come visit us daily Monday - Friday 7-7, and on the weekends for our homemade Belgian Waffles and made to order Omelets, Saturday 7-6, and Sunday 8-5. Come and treat your taste buds to over 200 pastries, cookies and chocolates, entrees, salads and sandwiches for all your family to enjoy. We started using the finest ingredients, and continue to use the finest ingredients in order to provide you with the freshest and finest delicacies in the DC Metro area.
